MUAY THAI – THAI BOXING
Muay Thai is a martial art that involves both hand and leg techniques, targeting various parts of the body. Elbows and knees are also allowed in this form of combat. Technique is highly emphasized during Muay Thai training, involving partner drills, focus mitts, and punching bags. The training is suitable for both men and women, welcoming anyone who wishes to improve their physical and mental health, boost self-confidence, increase vitality, flexibility, and balance, or even shed some extra pounds while enjoying a pleasant social environment. Age and gender are not limitations; the only limitation lies in one’s mindset, which can also be overcome.
Training Structure:
The sessions are tailored to individual skill levels, with beginner, recreational, and advanced classes available. Regardless of one’s proficiency, we train together to provide students with a genuine insight into the art and experience its authentic atmosphere.
For Muay Thai training, you will need:
- Jump rope
- Hand wraps
- 12-OZ boxing gloves
- Shin and instep guards
- Mouthguard
- Shorts and a shirt
- Towel
- 1-liter water bottle
Please note that training in the gym is done barefoot!
